Kat Von D Biography

Kat Von D, whose real name is Katherine von Drachenberg was born on 8 March 1982 , is an artist, tattoo artist, a businesswoman and presenter of the show LA Ink on channels TLC and Discovery Channel. Heavily tattooed, she said "Give her body tattooing". World-renowned artist, Von D is known to be a specialist portrait.

Kat Von D is actually known by issuing Miami Ink aired on TLC. Finally she adds her best friend, Pixie Acia, as manager of the show.

During the program, she entered the Guinness Book of Records , beating the record of people with tattoos in 24 hours by one person with a total of 400 people with tattoos.

Nevertheless, several changes will scratch this success, first, Von D and the rest of the cast are obliged to part with her ​​best friend Pixie Acia at the end of the second season of the show after several reproaches have been formulated, including the fact that she prefers the nightlife at the show. It is replaced by Aubrey Fisher of the reality TV show Rock of Love . Again the agreement is not the best since Fisher, who was hired by Brother Von D (who obtained the post of supervisor of the series thanks to Kat Von D), did not get along with the rest of tattoo of the show. Still, Fisher is still part of the show.

Finally, one of the biggest changes is the departure of Saigh and Aitchison cast. And on his official Myspace, Von D says it must separate the two tattoo artists and friends of the show for undisclosed reasons, just saying it does not control all components of the show and she regrets sincerely leaving.
